Micro Mention "Iron, Fire and Ice"

This book, "Iron, Fire, and Ice" by Ed West, is a fun, popular history book that is a scattershot survey of history, providing insight into the bits of the past that might have inspired George RR Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire.”

While not being the most robust of history books, it is incredibly entertaining—If you happened to watch "Game of Thrones" or read "A Song of Ice and Fire." Otherwise, you're not really going to get the unifying theory of this book as it jumps from Sparta, China, and then to Hadrian's Wall.
